The home
Everyone goes to Piazza Navona
Few stay the night in an old workshop on the street of the paper makers, with a private entrance
Paper was once made by hand here, and in the courtyard we still keep an old stone basin from those centuries
Imagine coming back in the evening to your workshop and stepping out into the courtyard of the building, sitting beside the old basin and raising a toast to your Rome, the one other tourists don't see
Perfect for couples, friends or families of up to 4 guests
We look forward to welcoming you!
The space
FORMER WORKSHOP ON VIA DEI CARTARI
When paper was still a luxury item, it was made and traded on our street, which is where the name comes from. One of those old workshops could be your home in Rome. Completely renovated, with an independent entrance from the street and a courtyard hidden behind the building's façade.
Everything is on the ground floor, with no stairs or elevators. One step and you are in the Parione district, one turn of the key and you are home.
BEDROOM
Double bedroom with a quality mattress, a double walk-in closet and carefully chosen linens. New windows, air conditioning and heating so you can sleep well in every season, after a day among the streets and monuments of Rome.
LIVING ROOM
Spacious and comfortable, with a double sofa bed for two additional guests and a Smart TV. The place to pause when you come back, open a bottle of wine and choose your next trattoria.
BATHROOM
Recently renovated but with its ancient ceilings, a large window, soft towels and a courtesy set.
KITCHEN
Separate, fully equipped kitchen: induction hob, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and everything you need to prepare your meals.
THE COURTYARD AND THE PAPER MAKERS' BASIN Inside the building opens a courtyard that nobody would imagine from the street. Here an old stone basin is preserved, left over from the centuries when this was the street of the paper makers.
A secluded corner and a rectangle of Roman sky, for your first coffee or the last drink of the day. The courtyard is shared with another holiday home, so you may meet other travelers during your stay.
