Why we ask for your documents
Anyone hosting guests in Rome must tell the police headquarters (Questura) who is staying in the property. What we ask for, when and why.
In Italy, anyone hosting guests must tell the Questura who is staying in the property, within 24 hours of arrival. This is required by Article 109 of the Consolidated Act of Public Security Laws. It also applies to short-term rentals like ours.
The notification is made through the Alloggiati Web portal of the State Police. To do it, we need the documents of all guests.
What we ask for
Three days before arrival we send you the link for online check-in. It takes two minutes: enter the documents of all guests.
As soon as you complete it, we send you the access codes and the directions to get there. Without online check-in we cannot send you the codes.
We use the documents only for this mandatory notification. For everything else, read the privacy page.
